Question by leanora9: Freeze a Digital Clock?
I’m filming a scene for a school project and need my digital clock like the one shown below…

…to freeze at a certain time (like at 1:00pm, but every time I try to film the whole scene, it`ll change before I’m done)
Is there anyway to do this that would not harm/break the clock?

Well, there’s an outside chance that it could be done without harming the clock, but I’d say it would be really difficult to figure out. You’d essentially have to determine the whole circuitry of the clock, and then completely disable (by grounding out a specific lead or pin) the clock signal going to the circuitry generating the numbers for display.
If it’s just a film class you’re doing, then what I would do is this: Take a photo of the clock, adjust the scale so it came out life-sized, and then cut out the background. I’m sure if you fiddled with contrast and other picture attributes, and if you filmed it from the right angle, you could make it look life-like.
