OTs Walk With NAMI Occupational therapists of MNYD in New York City join forces with NAMI-NYC Metro, an affiliate of the National Alliance on Mental Illness, to help people walk for recovery, wellness, and an end to the stigma of mental illness. Created by SUNY Downstate Medical Center occupational therapy graduate student Eileen LaMourie and independent filmmaker David Doyle as a motivational tool to promote 12-week walking programs for people with chronic mental illness.
