Okay I have a question
I want to turn my production company into a business when I’m older like have offices in New York and L.A. like Unversal studios or paramount pictures
how could i be as big as one of those studios and make major motion pictures every year ones that are in the movie theater
should i get a bunch of directors together and producers editors actors cinematographers and all that
and make a big allience and start as independent and work my way how does it work??
I want my company no name trademarked yet
but how can i be a major studio i am only 14 but i am gtting expiriance everyday
I wanted to be a director/producer
but i would like to also run a major studios in la and new yorkk

Go to college and get into film appreciation classes and learn about marketing. THAT is the key right there. Marketing and Promotions. I would advise you get a job in a movie theatre and once you work your way up to a associate manager or something related, you can do the movie promotions and if you are lucky enough, get to go to NATO which is the National Association of Theatre Owners and meet with all the marketing directors from the movie companies. If you ask them how they got started, it was from getting a job at a theatre, great appreciation for movies, got a degree in marketing and understanding the process of film making and then interning at one of the movie studios. You work your way up.
They are alot of companies merging and then there are always fresh face companies coming out of the word works. Like Overture Films for instance. They are just getting started, but are making some major headway with strong films. Key note: Have a great screen play. Never give up. Know the movie business inside and out and as long as you believe, you can do anything.
