The idea of creation the experimental center of cinematograph in our town appeared long ago. At first it was an experimental studio of modern cinema. Its name was Studio K. Lviv State Academy of Arts kindly gave us the possibility of doing our studies. In July of 2008 the nongovernmental organization Kinovizia was founded. The goal of our organization is to provide all possible support to modern Ukrainian cinema. We are carrying out our studies of cinematograph in the Academy of Arts with all students, who have the desire to learn cinema in our town from the third of October 2008. Our partners are: Lviv State Academy of Arts, the Center of Humanistic Studies, Lviv State National University of Ivan Franko. Our plans are: to study and investigate the history and modern state of Europium cinema; to provide practical classes from film directing, script writing, film editing, working with camera and the art of acting; to review, discuss and demonstrate films, to contact with different organizations, cinema clubs and other institution; to support and organize different film festivals, seminars, conferences, films shooting and others cinema projects; to create a digital film archive; to make contacts and work with different cinema schools, take part in international films festivals.
