Question by star: inexperienced in film and wanting to go to a film school?
so I’m been doing research on some film schools in Texas, California, and Florida. I want to try and apply as a transfer student to a school that majors in film. I don’t have any experience in film what so ever (psychology major). The only “experience” I have is working with a digital camera and I write all of my stories. So far I’ve read really good reviews on the Calarts School and UCLA. I was wondering if you needed any kind of experience to get accepted into these schools? And are there any other good film schools in Texas and Florida that don’t require experience?

Check out Academy of Art University in San Francisco. They have an excellent Film School with some flexibility insofar as admissions: http://www.academyart.edu/motion-pictures-television/index.html
They also offer both on-campus and online degree programs!
