Question by Chibi_Horo: Opinions on my story’s synopsis?
The story’s called “Mystic Academy”. I just finished the plot, character, and setting work so I decided to make a synopsis before actually writing the story. I just want people’s opinion on it, but criticism and advice are greatly welcomed. Okay, here it is:
Thousands of years into the future, mankind has abandoned Earth and exists only in deep space. Currently it is S.E. 3513. Humans coexist with aliens and inhabit both highly developed and underdeveloped civilizations that are scattered throughout the galaxy. In turmoil, the cosmos is torn by war between the militaristic republic the Galaxy Federation, the murderous people of the planet Lutanus, and the hell-bent Ronen Empire bent on ruling the galaxy. The only neutral territories are the independent jack-of-all-trades the Skyros Foundation, the informational network spanning the entire galaxy the U.I.N., and the largest business conglomerate in the galaxy Brionac Industries. However, in recent years, Brionac has turned its full attention toward their newly built Mystic Academy said to house young people with the rare gift of “Mystic”.
Viese: an eccentrically enigmatic seventeen year old girl, said to be the brightest and most skilled student in Mystic Academy. Though she united the ever quarrelling students and remains their leader to this day, not even her closest friends know her reasons for doing so. Can the mystery surrounding Viese be solved by the new transfer student, Dean Stark?
Dean: a cheerful and straightforward seventeen year old boy who just transferred to the Academy. Confused about why he and his brothers were suddenly brought to the Academy, Dean searches for the truth and soon finds his destiny deeply intertwined with the secret leader of the Academy, Viese Schrodinger.

Wow! Sounds really good. I’d totally read it. Just be sure to thoroughly explain everything and include lots of detail because you are creating a totally new universe, but I’m sure you’ll be able to do that. ;D Good luck!
