Question by Freak: I want to get started in filmmaking. What camcorder shall I get?
Alright so I want to be an ammatuer filmmaker [im 15]. I already know how to edit videos and all that sutff. I know what editing software Im buying [pinnacle studios]. I just need a camera that has good video quality and when you record, it saves to the built in hardrive or something or maybe a minidvd if its not to complicated when uploading to the computer. Something easy and simple with good video quality. But I need a good camcorder ranging from $ 200-$ 350. I cant find any! Any suggestions?
I forgot to mention that I plan on making short films. 10-30 minutes. So I hope that adds.

I have a Sony DCR-SR82 that works really well. It’s not high Def but more than likely with your budget that’s not an option anyway. I belive I paid $ 600 for mine but they make one with a smaller hard drive that’s a bit cheaper. My Costco also sold mine so it came with a solid return policy.
