This five-minute film highlights undergraduate research at Wilson in the social and physical and life sciences. During the fall of 2007, Wilson was one of only 10 higher education institutions chosen by the American Association of Colleges and Universities (AAC&U) to develop a film for its annual meeting, Jan. 23-26, 2008, which was held in Washington, DC AAC&U officials said they chose Wilson because of the Colleges reputation as a leader in efforts to strengthen undergraduate liberal arts education. The film production team from Conference TV is part of London-based HBL Media.

Lord David Puttnam decided to “have a crack at the movie industry” after 10 years in advertising. His films ‘Midnight Express’ and ‘Chariots of Fire’ were huge hits, the latter winning David an Oscar in 1982. David was awarded a CBE in 1982 and was appointed to the House of Lords in 1997. He now works principally for the Department of Education.
