Question by Nekochan: A question about both writing and about movies but not about writing movies?
For my end-of-quarter essay for my arts and film-making class in junior high, I’ve chosen to write about the history and development of the film noir genre, mainly focusing on classic film noir movies, modern-day noir, and Humphrey Bogart as the most famous film noir actor in the history of cinema. I know i chose a tough subject to tackle, but how could I introduce my topics in writing? Any tips on content?

My teacher while in college once wrote an essay as a producers point of view. I forget what the topic is but she made it like “I need my coffee! Script.” something like that. it turned out really good. You could maybe be like a producer trying to remake some of the noir movies or something and then make it from a producer’s perspective in a way. I hope all goes well good luck! =D
