Aurora Board Mulls Health Benefits for Officials
The Town of Aurora will continue to provide health benefits to its part-time elected officials for at least the 2011 budget year, but the practice may soon end. The Town Board was set to eliminate the benefits at its last meeting, but held off at the request of one official who would like to discuss other options.

Gas wells, rezoning among LISD retreat items
During its annual board strategic planning session Thursday, the Lewisville ISD Board of Trustees and district staff members discussed its options regarding gas drilling on district property and agreed to look into the cost of hiring a consultant to provide specifics on the issue.
