He completed his schooling at LPS and UPS Kudavatoor, while he finished his higher school studies at SKVHS Thrikkannamangal. Later he attended MG College Thiruvananthapuram, DB College, Sasthamcottah and Law Academy Law College, Thiruvananthapuram. he got the Kerala State Award for the Best Actor for his performance in the film Neithukaaran. Murali’s First film was Njattadi Acting career Murali debuted into films with the lead role in Njattadi, directed by Gopi. But the film never released.
