Question by Tony: Can I go to 2 colleges at the same time?
Can I go to two community colleges at the same time? I want to be a filmmaker, but the college closest to me doesn’t have a Film major, just a few classes (Editing and Scriptwriting). I was thinking: General Ed at Cabrillo in the day, and Film at DeAnza in the evening.

Yes, you can do this, and you may be able to transfer some credits from one college to another (you should check with your academic and career advisors). I would advise that you start at the college where you want to get your degree. Then, after you have a year or two under your belt, you might look into a certification in your other interest at the other college. If you manage to keep a strong GPA at Cabrillo, you might even find yourself looking at another film school in a few years, and that school might even be willing to offer some financial assistance.
