Question by Stacey: Can you give me an idea for a documentary?
I am required to complete a documentary for my documentary production class and I’m having trouble finding good ideas. I prefer that it allows me to shoot at/or around campus, but can travel if it’s a really good idea. My professor stresses that he need to appeal to the emotions with human connection.
So far my ideas are:
The foreclosure crisis. . . Is the gov doing enough? Will it hurt the economic recovery, where is it leaving homeless families to go, ect.
I am also thinking of doing something on the poor economy and where that leaves the graduating class of 2010? I want to gauge students’ concerns, find out what students (careers) will be effected the most/the least, ect.
I also thought about doing it on how the poor economy is effecting horse/livestock ownership, and how horses are being turned loose, neglected, and rescues are becoming overflooded with new stock.
What is your idea for a documentary???
Please give me some great ideas for a documentary. I will be very very grateful.
