Question by Jake: Chances of Admission and Presidents Scholarship at Georgia Tech?
I am a rising senior going to school in Virginia getting ready to apply to GT and VT and I was wondering what my chances are at the Presidents Scholarship. GPA- 4.0 unweighted 4.6 weighted. SAT Verbal 700 Math 640 Writing 640. Extracurriculars- Varsity Tennis, Academic Team and Scholastic Bowl, Several Clubs, Student Council, Several Summer Enrichment Programs over the years including an internship at NASA Langley Research Center this summer, Two years of independent research for the Virginia Junior Academy of Science and the Intel International Science and Engineering Fair. Any suggestions or advice about applying and getting scholarship money from Georgia Tech would be much appreciated, especially from former President’s Scholarship Recipients.
