So basically a few months ago Shawna approached me with an idea for this video project she wanted to do for her PACE class. She asked me to help her create a low budget style student film with a home-made feel to it, based on a parody of the song ‘Hey There Delilah’ called ‘Hey There Chlamydia’. So we set out on this project, and, three days of filming, three lunch hours of editing, two skipped classes and one late mark, lots of random sound effects, and one awkward encounter with my grandpa while filming ‘Shawn’ peeing blood in my bathroom later, Chlamydia – A Not So True Story was born. I would like to thank the many people who made this film a success, from my sister who happily wasted her makeup drawing lipstick marks and a beard on Shawna for us, to my grandparents, for making the last day of filming just that much more awkward for us all. Enjoy 🙂 -Dare

For more information about the summer program and any other puppety info go to www.geppettodreams.com This is a movie I made during the summer puppet camp at Geppetto Dreams. It’s all stop animation and took twenty, five hour classes over the course of ten weeks, twice a week plus aditional hours I put in for editing and the thriller dance at the end. Hooray for Zombies!
