Question by jessica7: exposing camera film?
ok so i grew up using a camera with film in it but then a few years ago i got a digital camera and now thats all i know how to use. so im kind of lost with this whole film thing. but anyways i started photography classes in school a couple weeks ago and we’re doing a group project to get the hang of it so my friend was rewinding the film and she didnt rewind it all the way and opened the back then closed it really fast. i know that exposes the film but does it just expose the few you can see or the whole role? im soo pissed because i was really getting into this whole thing and this is already our second time doing it because something was wrong with the camera before and im afraid im gonna flunk this class because of her!

Any film that was outside the canister will be exposed. Likewise, any film that was rewound and safely inside the canister will be safe.
If you or your friend is having trouble with rewinding the film, trying asking your teacher to help you with your specific camera.
