The original producer run out of budget and has to resort to finishing the movie using an FPJ double. FPJ didn’t like the finished film and got a new producer instead. There were some revisions in the script, more scenes were reshoot and some of the original stars replaced, The new finished film cost a staggering 35M which at that time was considered very expensive, as compared to the original which cost a measly 7M. Then while the film was being processed at the Sampaguita Studios armed men barged in and at gunpoint took the master negative. There were threats to destroy the film then.
