Katrina Kaif, a former model is now popular for her successively pursuing career as a British Indian actress in Indian film industry aka Bollywood. Besides her original name as Katrina Turquotte, she is using her name as Katrina Kaif according to her father’s surname.
Background and personal life
Katrina Kaif was born in Hong Kong on 16 July 1984. Her father is an Indian Kashmiri and mother is a British. Her parents get divorced at her young age. She was born to a Muslim father and a Christian mother. From Hongkong her family moved to various places of the world like China, Japan, France, Switzerland, Poland, Germany, Belgium Hawaii and some other European countries etc.
Career and achievements
She started her career at a very young age. Her first assignment is for Jewellery in the age of 14. She continued modelling in London with Models 1 Agency. Her modelling career led her to London based filmmaker Kaizad Gustad and gives her chance to be part of his movie Boom in 2003.
In 2005 her small role in “Sarkar by Ram Gopal Verma provide her a noticeable introduction to Bollywood. From that movie Katrina never looked back and till now spreading her charm on her million fans.
In 2007 she was on hit list due to her continuous four hit films Namaste London, Apne, Partner and welcome. Her performance highly praised in the movies like New York, and because of this, Katrina Kaif received her first Film fare nominations. 2010’s release Raajneeti boosts her acting career. Despite getting number of negative remarks from the movies ‘Tees near Khan’ Katrina’s item number was a blockbuster. Katrina’s voice is often dubbed due to her poor Hindi accent.
Five hit releases in 2007 were kept for Katrina. Namaste London with Akshay Kumar was one of the top hits; in this movie Katrina did her own dubbing for the first time. The other three movies were Apne with the Deols, David Dhawan’s Partner and Welcome, all of which performed well at the box office. In 2011, Zoya Akhtar’s Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara and Yash Raj Films’ Mere Brother Ki Dulhan. Both these films did well at the box-office. Katrina’s maximum Akshya Kumar paired movies are provides blockbuster hits. Along with her Hindi movies she has also appeared in Telugu and Malayalam films.
Katrina Kaif has been the most searched Indian celebrity on “Google India” in the years of 2008, 2009, 2010, 2012. She is also voted as the sexiest woman in the world by both the “Eastern Eye” in 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011 and “FHM India” in the year 2008, 2009, 2011, 2012. She won the best Female style Icon at IIFA Awards. Katrina is also the brand ambassador of the national airline of the United Arab Emirates known as – Etihad Airways.
Katrina Kaif upcoming movies are Ek Tha Tiger, Dhoom 3, Namak, 22 Tango and Raajneeti sequel etc. In her short career she got a chance to work with number of proficient directors and biggest banners in Hindi film industry.

as anyone you want? The conservatives keep erasing my comments about Christian conservatives and their campaign against political correctness. Had no cursing or anything. But they keep my comments that make viewers think white conservatives are victimized. Their community modding is all wrong.
