Question by Jeff_1607: Future Movie Director/Screenwriter…..Do i need to start watching more movies?
Yea, i’ve had fascination towards movies and all..but i haven’t gone so far in watching all of them. Yea i may occasionally sit down & watch a movie or two but that’s not on purpose. I still tho, have that ambition to do that…..i’ve created different versions and original ideas in my head & i possess great writing skills. but i’m wondering if i need a whole list of movies already watched….please help

What I would do is look into classes at a college. Community colleges in my area offer all kinds of art classes that range from photography to movie making and everything to do with that…Chances are you will have certain assignments where you will have to watch certain movies and reflect on certain things in the movie…Before that, I really wouldn’t suggest wasting the time (but I hate using that word, b/c I LOVE movies and DON’T think they are a waste of time at all, lol)…But it’s all personal preference 🙂 Good luck to you in your endeavors
A fun thing to do though might be to watch a movie and reflect on any hidden meaning or maybe try and figure out what the director is trying to teach the audience
