The Great Global Warming Swindle is a controversial documentary film by British television producer Martin Durkin, which argues against the scientific theory that human activity is the main cause of global warming.
I was impressed by the filmmakers ability to misrepresent data and make it appear accurate. I had been wanting to see what how the otherside thinks.
Has any one else seen this film? What are your thoughts?
I always like to know the other side of the arguement. If you don’t know their argument how can you prove them wrong? It is propaganda and so is mr.Gore’s movie. Unfortunately, this subject is based on science which most poeople don’t understand as well as they do rhetoric and propaganda.
Larry- I am a scientist too. Credentials and prestige does not make them right. They are saying factual things but they are leaving out the whole picture. I can listen just fine. In fact I watched the movie hoping that I would learn something. All I learned is that even respected scientists will lie for the right money.

Yes I have seen it. It is political propaganda, just like “An Inconvenient Truth”, only with an opposite spin. Some of what is says is true but much of what it says is distorted. But I do agree with the film’s portrayal of the political forces at work.

I saw it on line some time ago, but now I am having trouble finding it. Has political pressure been exerted on those posting it to remove it? That would certainly be in agreement with the claims of political tactics made in the firm itself. It claims that freedom of speech is being denied to anyone who does not agree with the point of view in “An Inconvenient Truth”.
