Question by Union of the Americas by 2030: How can a person with no experience get started at producing amateur short films with just a simple camcorder?
Answer by Eoghan
you just do it. Nothing’s stopping you. The point of a producer is to pay for any materials and arrange castings and all that. So if you need a cast, your job is to ask your friends, or put an ad for auditions in the newspaper. If you need a set, your job is to raise the money to pay for it. If you want to sell it…that’s your job too. The key word here is amateur. You can make it as run of the mill or over the top as you want. It’s your dime. So, take your camcorder and film film film. : D
