Question by Somebody: How do filmmakers do that “mirror” effect?
In some movies I’ve seen, there’s a character facing a mirror, and the camera is placed next to the character. However, in the movie you only see the reflection of the character. So basically, i’m asking how they hide the camera from being seen in the mirror reflection. It may have something to do with angles, but on a few pictures and movies I’ve seen, the camera was pointed directly at a mirror, but there was no reflection. Is it a digital effect or use of other mirrors and stuff?

One way maybe to edit the movie and use computer to erase the camera. They use computers to do a lot of editing to movies these days. Guessing its along the same lines as they go back and edit movies to remove ropes that they use in action movies of people flying backwards from explosions and stuff.
