Question by John: How do you make money with documentaries?
im thinking about making documentaries when I grow up but im not sure yet.
If I do decide to do this it’s not gonna be for the money but how would you make money with them?

You really don’t make money with documentaries unless they are shown on television. Most documentaries are usually programs that are shown on The Discovery Channel or some other such channel. To make a documentary to make money is not the best thing to do, although it seems as it would be fun.
Except for Michael Moore and Ken Burns, there are very few documentarians who make money.
