Mentoring the future
The African American Male Mentoring Program (AAMMP) is continuing to find ways to improve the lives of local young men. Created in 2009 in response to what was seen as low standardized test scores for African American males in Madison County, the program originally was designed to pair male students with male mentors in the hope that it leads to a positive outcome.
