Question by sweetipie62093: how to make an independent movie SAG?
My family has owned a small record company before I was born and now we are crossing over to a production company (even though we want to be both). Is it true that even though you have famous actors in mind.. or actors in mind.. do you still have to do an open call for all the characters? Because I kind of have 3 of the actors in mind already… but I’m stuck on one character. Even though we are still writting the script. Also how do you submitt your movie to Sundance Film Festival, or the one in France? And can you bring the main actors to the screening? Thank you for your help 🙂

Go to www.sagindie.org. There is ALL the info you need to know on how to go SAG. Also resources for crewing-up-, etc.
For Sundance, do a Google for resources. There are probably film makers on YouTube who would talk about their experiences.
“The one in France”. If you don’t know the name of that one, then you certainly aren’t ready for it.
