Question by Michele H: I need to make a short film in a week; what should I do?
I wanted to enter this film festival but didn’t get the e-mail until today and the videos must be sent in by next Friday. I am not sure what I want to do, I just know that it needs to be something that can be done without a load of planning. I decided I want to do either a short narrative or a music video, a short documentary if anyone has a great idea. I just need a little help sparking an idea. What do you think users of yahoo?

Forget documentary. Do something you can execute with just your friends and no money, few props, no travel required. Preferably outdoors in the daytime so you don’t need lighting.
Spend tonight and tomorrow working on the story/script. Shoot the script with help from friends this weekend. Monday-Wednesday edit the movie, add music, and burn to disc. Send it in Thursday.
