Question by GO GREEN!: I’m Teen: I have a huge, strong passion in Photography, but I am discouraged as they say “It’s a hard job”?
Hiya 🙂
I’m a teenager, and I absolutely love photography. LOVE it. It’s one of the main things that make me tick. (however, I do also find passion in Writing, Biology/Wildlife and Art too)
I am keen on the idea of trying to become a Wildlife biologist /Filmmaker/ Photographer when I am older, perhaps along with a little Journalism in there too. It’s really my biggest dream!
However, I have been told numerous times of the threats, risks and problems that many photographers face – that its tough to get noticed; the payroll is rubbish; it is expensive to travel on your own back and purchase your own equipment when starting off, and so on so forth.
I would like to know from you guys (that probably know more than me!) how this line of work is, and if I REALLY put my heart and mind to achieving my goals – will it be worth it and do you think I can TRULY make it ? or after having a profession so long ..after a while..will it stagnate and become boring?
I would love if you could also check out my gallery to see if my work has any potential or not :

Thank you SO Much I would wholeheartedly appreciate everything you supply me with. THANKS!!!!

Answer by Too Good To Be True
So what if its a hard job. If it’s something you love and want to do then do it. Don’t let other peope impact your life in that way. You just have to ask yourself, “Is this what I realy want to do?’. If you have the drive to do it then it can be done.
Yea you got talent. Good luck
