Question by KATTALNUVA: Independence.?
How do you get independence as a writer. I want to be able to get my creations out there and make money off them. I don’t want to rely on other people to get my works out there, and I don’t want anyone telling me how I should be writing it them.
For example Let’s say I wrote a Batman comic and presented it to DC, and they publish it. And when people read it they know “It’s my comic”
Another example: Independent filmmaker George Lucas. He spends all the money from his own pocket and always get’s his way because “They’re his movies”
Now how do I get that kind of independence.

Are you independently wealthy? You can do whatevery you can afford to do.
I suspect that your not, so I guess you’re going to have to relay on the system like the rest of us. unless you want to pay to have your work published (BTW I don’t recommend that you go out and self publish any piece of work based on or using any copyrighted characters, or images without purchasing their very expensive license to do so.– THEY will sue the pants off you)
Don’t expect to make a lot of money with your work if you’re not going to “bother” to learn how to write. With your attitude, I’d say you’ve got a long long way to go.
