Question by Princess Leiya: Is an author a career or a hobbie?
I’m asking because I like to tell stories and I lie to my parents to say I want to do things like doctor or lawyer but I don’t. I really like to control things and make an outcome out of things and make up peoples jobs and lives and like be a puppet master and what better way to do that than be an author where my imagination can come out! 🙂 I mean I know it wont really work unless I become like BEST SELLING! but I really think that God put this huge imagination in my head to share it with the world and I don’t want to end up doing something I’ll regret so how can I make this a career? should I just become a filmmaker? I mean what career includes an author?
Excuse me boles harbor I asked it now and I wanted an answer not a smart remark! and um I would like to see you lend a 14 year old some money to publish a book (me)

Ask that again when you’ve actually been published and sold something with any great measure of volume!

EDIT: I will Excuse your youthfull impetuism and indiscretion as it wasn’t intended to be a “Smart remark”.
It was however, intended to emphasize the Pragmatic aspect of the circumstance that you are contemplating.
It takes a Publishing House with the Fiscal means and Logistical Facilities to Publish someone and actually make it happen and the chances of it happenning are infanticimal.
Have you any idea how many submissions are made for publications every year?
You should not be so quick to assume and apply ill motives to someone!
