Question by blueberrymuffin: is the university of iowa a good school to go to for a major in film production?
i’m just interested in film production and saw that the university of iowa offered that major and i’d just like to know anyone’s experiences from there.

It’s easy to lose yourself among the 20,000 other undergrads you’ll find on University of Iowa’s remote Midwestern campus. For the independent, self-sufficient student, this may not be a bad thing. Most students like being able to walk around campus without seeing the same faces over and over, and appreciate the ability to choose from a large variety of classes in strong programs such as English, engineering, speech pathology, pharmacology, business and health sciences. The school’s size, however, also ensures that most of these classes will be lecture-style, so it’ll usually take some effort to make sure your professors learn your name.
