While home for summer vacation before going to DC to intern, I did some work for my school that I went to. They’re thinking about doing some new advertising. Bedbug-sniffing dogs are raising doubts for some
As the number of reported bedbug infestations rises and the demand for specially trained dogs to sniff them out soars, so too are complaints from people who say dogs have falsely alerted to bedbugs that were not there. And within the bedbug industry, there are fears that a rise in so called “false positives” by dogs will harm their credibility and business.
