Living Green Festival kick-off meeting Sept. 14
Kern River Valley Revitalization is holding a meeting for potential volunteers to talk about the next Living Green KRV Festival March 17-27. The meeting will be followed by two short films, “For the Price of a Cup of Coffee” and “Ubuntu”. We will meet at 6:00 p.m., at the Kernville Community Room (next to the Kernville Chamber.)

Sure, he’s written the screenplays to such memorable Tim Burton films as “Big Fish,” “Corpse Bride” and “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory” — as well the McG action adventures “Charlie’s Angels” and “Charlie’s Angels: Full Throttle” — but that doesn’t mean John August is about to speed away from his roots.
