Question by Brad: Old Pink Floyd footage?
I’m a collector of Pink Floyd everything.
One thing has escaped me though. If you go back and watch the VH1 documentary “Making of Dark Side of the Moon”, you see clips of this beautiful footage of them recording the album, and the camera is always slowly moving to the right or left while they’re playing. You see clips of it again when you watch the recent BBC documentary “Which One’s Pink?”, only in THAT documentary, the footage is of them recording Seamus the dog for Meddle. However, it looks to be the same filmmaker, what with the slow sweeping camera and all.
Where does this footage come from?

Have you tried contacting the BBC about it? The “Pink Floyd Night” of the 23rd had promotional Press packs and other stuff arranged to go with it, so it’s quite possible that the Beeb still have enough invested to answer the question for ya. I would bet they do. Get to them via http://www.bbc.co.uk/pressoffice/proginfo/tv/wk21/fri.shtml and the “contact us”.
