This journalist hit rock bottom about three years ago. She just did not lose a brother but also her job.
All that was really in her name was her lovely dog and her talent as a photographer.
From her home, she was able to start taking black and white portraits of dogs as her subjects. Her work always stood out from all the other photographs in the market.
Her style was always different from the normal pet photography in the market. According to her the way of filming was in a documentary style, a way others did not do.
The main difference for studio photographers and hobbyists is that the latter does it because they love it and money is nothings to them. I am now used to working with the documentary was as I capture my subjects since I am a photojournalist.
Using only whatever is available this photographer works on location. So as to have an outcome that one desired, she says patience is more that a virtue.
Working with a dog can be hard to before anything she makes a point to get to know the animal. With this the dog will be more natural on film and not acting.
For one single portrait it takes about a whole day’s work and averaging about $ 200 to $ 500 though her clients are not the rich type. Sometimes her clients are single women, gay couples, and more traditional families without children or whose children are grown. Not only has her work been seen in California but also in other parts of the United States.
Many of her clients love their dogs and the personality of them. Just like professionals, these pet photographers also have their set of skills that make they stand out from the crowd. Always go for the best pet photographers as they will be able to satisfy your portrait needs.
First you have to consider the style of the photographer. Do you want formal portraits, or do you prefer the documentary style that has become so popular.
Is it possible to have a mix of the two styles. Will the style you choose satisfy you over the years when the photographs are on your walls, on your desk or in albums.
Usually one will love the outcomes of the portrait if at the start they already believe and love the concept. Make sure both you and your pets are comfortable with the photographer.

Confessions of a Shopaholic & The Devil wears Prada are about fashion. Zach and Miri make a Porno is kind of about filmaking.
