i think the indisputable order of film schools for cinematography goes like this.
1. Film and tv institutes of india.FTII( WWW.FTIIINDIA.COM)
2. SRFTII.calcutta.
3.Baglore polytechnics( from where govind nihlani is graduate)
4. CRAFT: Center for resch in art of film and televion.
(www.log2craft.org) located in rohini, delhi.
i came from jammu,Studied Cinematography at CRAFT and working as Asssit Cameraperson with Amitabh Singh,the welknown ad cameraman and feature film DOP for :Khosla Ka Ghosla.CRAFT is one of the best place if you are looking for one year course .
