Question by JK: Best film and media production school in Canada?
I’m thinking about leaving my current university and studying abroad (probably Canada) for my degree. My main profession is Music and I will try that as my first choice (in Humber, as an electric bass player), but film and media production really attracts me. Which universities are the top notch ones in Canada when it comes to that department? (preferably Toronto or Vancouver; Montreal looks awesome too, but I don’t speak a word of French 🙂 ) ? Thanks!

I have a couple friends who graduated from the Vancouver Film school in Vancouver British Columbia.
Currently, 2 of my friends have their own studio in Concord California, and one of my other friends works for Paramount pictures as a Key grip and lighting technician.
From what they tell me, you get alot of hands on experience from the Vancouver Film School, which helped them alot when they got hired to do jobs from major film companies.
