Question by Music Is My Lover: Can I get into any of these schools?
I’m aiming for:
Syracuse University
Ithaca College
Pepperdine University
Boston University
Chapman University
Florida State University
NYU
If you think I can get into more than one tell me which is better, I’m majoring in film and foreign languages
I have a 3.2 gpa and I’m an upcoming senior.
I am a half African American and half native American female, affiliated with a state recognized tribe
1750 was my SAT though I am going to take it again, and aiming for a 1900+ this was my first try.

Writing:560
I have 3 AP classes lined up for this year and I took one last year.
I have almost 200 hours in community service (working at rec. centers, nursing homes, libraries, and cleaning up the community) and I am in extracurricular activities such as
volleyball
tennis
FBLA (Future Business Leaders of America which me and my group won the state competition in Digital Video Production)
Green Clean-Up
Drum line
Youth and Government
This year I’m joining
Model U.N
Softball
Debate Team
National Honor Society (Only need a 3.2 to get in, I finally reached it)
Freshman year GPA: 2.63
Sophomore year: 3.2
Junior: 3.71
Plus some high school classes I took in middle school I got A’s in
I put this fact because I hope this shows gradual improvement and maybe colleges might appreciate that.
I have a job with the DC Government part time after school and I’m ranked in the top 15% of my class out of 242 students
So any chances? Also if there are other schools I should consider, feel free to post!!!!

I know FSU is good for the arts (theater, film, etc.) and I’d definitely say you could get in there with those scores. Try taking the ACT, some people do better and it will be another score to send in your favor.
