Question by Gaming Jeux: Canon EOS Rebel T1i or Nikon D3100?
Hello,
I am looking to buy a new entry-level DSLR for both stills and video capture.
I stress the video capture because I do alot of amateur video productions and documentaries.
I’m pretty much asking which camera will perform better in BOTH still photography and video.
The camera is for all around photography, and it’s primary use will be in Europe this summer and ski trips this winter.
I’m sort of in a hurry as I’ve seen great deals on both cameras on sale recently, so promt resposes are appreciated.

The D3100 has one MAJOR advantage that the T1i doesn’t have. And that’s Auto-Focus with video.
You can get the Rebel, but you will have to be doing all manual focus with video.
