Question by Christina: do teachers lie to students?
My friend is very stupid he is going to a school called kaplan academy. I told him its a bad school they are so post to give him a laptop but they have not. I myself do independent study and I love it. Well his teacher told him I am taking the easy way out. I told him that of course his teacher is going to say that to keep him there and keep getting the money off him that each public school gets for each student they have. But he does not understand that.His school is just were your on the computer all day.So my question is am I right.

I think you 70% right because maybe he needs help and is hard for him to do independent study. Probably you as friend can help him out. But it’s up to you. To answer your question, teacher sometimes lie to students. Believe me, I experience before.
