Question by Derek: Does Anyone feel sorry for the people who made The Last Broadcast?
The filmmakers slated a budget of $ 900 and used the shaky camera technique such as The Blair Witch Project. The two filmmakers served as writers, directors, producers, etc. all by themselves and put a lot of hard work and edited carefully by using PC software. They put it out in the theaters on October 23, 1998 and it was the first use of digital cinema ever. The film only made $ 12,097 domestically and did not gain publicity until the Blair Witch Project was released and The Last Broadcast is where the writers of the Blair Witch Project got their idea from in the first place and the Blair Witch Project made 200 million. Don’t you think they ripped off The Last Broadcast? I feel sorry for the filmmakers that only made $ 12,097.

Oh well, there are no guaranties in the film business. The movie ” Water World” comes to mind. It was the most expensive movie ever, and it bombed at the box office
