Mac is expensive and PC is cheap, but which one will I get more stuff out of and that will benefit me?

You need to look at what programs you need to use before you buy anything.
You do have to pay over twice the price for the hardware in a mac and the programs cost a small fortune. If you can possibly get the programs you need for a pc you should do.
(final cut pro definately is not free with a mac. it costs about $ 1000 and then you pay at least another $ 1000 for the computer, I cant see why people buy from apple when they rip people off like that)
