Question by …: Need suggestions for what font to use?
I’m an filmmaker editing my own film and I desperately need suggestions on what font to use for the following words in the film
“One Year Later”
and
“5:00 Minutes Earlier” (timer ticking down)
Both of these occur at separate times during the movie centered against an entirely black screen. The movie is a thriller/mystery so I had initially decided on a font similar to the fancy font from the opening credits to the Angela Lansbury TV series Murder She Wrote. This worked fine with the “One Year Later” but looks terrible with the ticking timer “5:00 Minutes Earlier”. A digital clock looking font would be fitting for this BUT it does not look great with the “One Year Later” line. Both lines must have the same font. I have MANY fonts installed and with the movie, they all seem to look like some cheep video a kid uploaded to YouTube.
Any suggestions for an appropriate font of a particular name or just a certain style of font (prefered) for this project would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance.
