Question by Furyansc4: Should I take a year off after one semester?
Hey, I got accepted into CSU Long Beach (my dream school), but the thing is I was seriously considering taking a year off because Im really burnt out (I took NUMEROUS college courses throughout high school). On the other hand, I dont want to give up my acceptance to my dream college. I was thinking about doing a semester and then taking a year off, or doing a full 2-3 semesters and then taking a year off. My major is Film Production & Linguistics (double major), and as much as I want to start my Film classes, I want to relax and travel. What should I do? Travel after a year of college, or not take any years off, finish and then travel? Please Help!

Only you can really answer this question. Can you push yourself to keep taking classes? If you take a semester or year off, it might be hard to get back in and get the momentum going again. My suggestion would be to just get in there and get it done, and do some traveling on breaks. You’ll feel so good once you get your degree!
