Question by MAX360: Trying to improve quality of short films?
I am trying to improve the quality of my short films. I am taking a film making class in high school and it is something I am very interested in. I want to get a really good film quality camera. I am using an old samsung one and I do not like it one but so I do not want a samsung. I am also looking for a better film editing software. I am currently using just microsoft moviemaker. So what suggestions do you have for a camera and software?

Do you wanna go HD or is SD okay? I would suggest getting a canon gl1 or gl2. You can get used ones from http://www.onequality.com/professional-camcorders-c-30.html, they have other good cameras on that sight as well. As for software I would go to Adobe http://www.adobe.com/products/premiere/switch/, Every thing is gonna cost money to upgrade but if you do it right you wont have to upgrade for a while. Check it out hope I helped, and good luck on your search.
