Question by : What are the chances of an independent film being bought by a distributor at a film festival?
I’m working on a low budget horror movie and hope to enter it into some film festivals. I was just wondering if big-time movie producers/execs REALLY attend these film festivals and look for movies to buy and distribute? Or, are the many independent filmmakers that dream of seeing their movies screened at these festivals, are just kidding themselves and living a dream that will never come true?

less than 1%. even less less… because of the recession and economy…
That is why most people work at a realistic job.
