Question by p!nkj3ll0<3: What conflicts sparked the Kurdish genocide of 1988?
I am looking for some background on this horrible genocide. Who was in charge? Why did they want to kill the Kurds? What tactics did they use? What were their motives?
Also, it would be great if you directed me to sources or a good documentary.

Its good that you are not satisfied with media white wash. The hatred of the Kurds goes back to their aristocratic and cruel eminance in the Persian Empire. As political dynamics changed they have been in a cintinuous struggle to establish an maintain their indepence. Their homeland of Kurdistan is presently covered by Turkey, Iran, Iraq, and Syria. They are ferocious fighters who’s persistant and bellicose attitude has made them hated by the nations who have to deal with them. They are Iranian in origin.
