Question by CaptainUncomfortable: What do i do next? What do i say?
Okay, so I go to an art school and I have found myself really liking a girl at school. I am in digital film and she is in photography. She is insanely beautiful and has the most adorable personality so far as I’ve seen. So as the situation goes… I first started talking to her a few weeks ago after she gave a presentation in class (I did notice her before hand) but the presentation gave me a reason to talk to her. So as she was in front of the class I made a few comments to try and get her to notice me out of everyone else in the class. So later it seemed to work as she stopped me in the lobby after class and talked to me for a good… I wanna say 45 min. All about music and a concert we had went to at the same time. (but not together) So that night i found her online and then talked to her a few days later online and we had a good hour to hour and a half conversation which led me to find out she was switching to another class of mine and me promising i would save her a seat, which i did. Then in class we barely got to talk and when I got a chance to talk to her i didn’t know what to say. I tried a few compliments but i didn’t want to over do it and they didn’t seem to spark any good topics for conversation. I’m now getting the feeling that she might be rather shy, which worries me because i consider myself rather shy as well. So my question would be what should I do next? I really like this girl and would LOVE to date her but don’t know what my next step would be. And also what should I say? as like a conversation starter or anything like that. I just don’t want her to loose interest. Anyone have any good ideas? please let me know. Thanks.

I would say take it slow and act like you are just a friend. This gives you time to really get to know her… like if she has a bf ( but don’t ask that too soon)
Just ask if she want to do so. just as friends. this hopefully will make you feel more comfortable.
good luck
