Question by Jackie: What’s the latest and greatest HD camera/camcorder to use for indie filmmaking?
I’m close to finishing my first feature film script and want to know which camera/digital camcorder would be best suited for my movie. I’m willing to invest a decent amount of money into it IF it’s worth it and the quality shows up on the screen. There are three fight scenes and a car chase in the movie so i’m gonna need one that can capture action shots really well. Any advice will be appreciated.

You can get some great high quality cameras used online. Check out http://www.onequality.com/professional-camcorders-c-30.html , they have some great cameras there for cheap, and they warranty there products too. I would go with Canon or Nikon brands, they are the best there is. I also hear these new cameras called RED are great and ground breaking technology but I have no personal experience with those.
