I’m an independent filmmaker that always thought search engine optimization (SEO) was a tool used by online hucksters to separate people from their money.
I changed my mind after seeing how effectively my good friend Tim Beachum SEO & Internet Marketing Consultant promoted the indie feature Consignment. He co-produced and edited the movie with me. I knew he was tech savvy, but had no idea how much he knew until he went into action.
After completing the movie he suggested we stream the opening 10 minutes online for free without any interruptions. Being an independent movie there was not any big money to launch a full blown marketing campaign, so reluctantly I agreed to go along with his idea. Jackpot!
