Question by Ashley: What do you think of my cover letter to accompany my CV?
Dear Sir or Madam
I am very interested in applying to your company. I am looking for any position available that would suit my qualifications. Currently, I am very interested in applying as a runner, production assistant, trainee, photographer, intern or anything similar that would allow me to gain an overall knowledge of the production process and the different roles within a company.
I have a 2.1 degree in cinema, photography & TV production and experience from a range of companies and independent productions, where I mostly worked as photographer, cameraman and editor. My strengths lie in my hard-working attitude, strong determination, an eagerness to learn and I am very passionate in my creative skills. I am outgoing and very much enjoy working with people, though I am also content working autonomously when required.
I am currently living in central London with a clean licence and car, available to start work immediately and I am very flexible with hours and pay. I have included a copy of my CV if you happen to have any positions available and I would love the opportunity to prove myself further in an interview.
I look forward to hearing from you in the near future.
Kind Regards,
Ashley Davis
